Across the Universe by. Beth Revis

Amy is a cryogenically frozen passenger aboard the vast spaceship Godspeed. She expects to awaken on a new planet, 300 years in the future. But fifty years before Godspeed's scheduled landing, Amy's cryo chamber is unplugged, and she is nearly killed.
Now, Amy is caught inside an enclosed world where nothing makes sense. Godspeed's passengers have forfeited all control to Eldest, a tyrannical and frightening leader, and Elder, his rebellious and brilliant teenage heir.
Amy desperately wants to trust Elder. But should she? All she knows is that she must race to unlock Godspeed's hidden secrets before whoever woke her tries to kill again. ~ Summary from bn.com

I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

This is in fact probably the only Semi Sci-fi book I will ever read, despite the fact I absolutely LOVED it.
It got pretty angsty and dramatic at some points, really depressing at others. There were so many emotions flying around in a world where there aren't supposed to be any.  It was awesome.

Wanna know what I found ironic though, Amy was nonessential cargo on the ship. But yet, she's pretty much the most essential person on the Godspeed besides Elder. Irony, gotta love it. And how the people in the mental patient ward were the only sane ones?

But what I didn't get was why Amy NEVER told Elder about what Luthe tried to do to her... I get that Amy was really upset about that, I mean she had EVERY right to be, but why didn't Elder push the envelope on that?... Yeah, you won't get that lil' drabble until you READ THE BOOK! Which all of you should of course. :)

Cloaked by. Alex Flinn

I'm not your average hero. I actually wasn't your average anything. Just a poor guy working an after-school job at a South Beach shoe repair shop to help his mom make ends meet. But a little magic changed it all.
It all started with a curse. And a frognapping. And one hot-looking princess, who asked me to lead a rescue mission.
There wasn't a fairy godmother or any of that. And even though I fell in love along the way, what happened to me is unlike any fairy tale I've ever heard. Before I knew it, I was spying with a flock of enchanted swans, talking (yes, talking!) to a fox named Todd, and nearly trampled by giants in the Everglades.
Don't believe me? I didn't believe it either. But you'll see. Because I knew it all was true, the second I got cloaked. ~ Summary from bn.com

I give this book 2 out of 5 stars...

I'm going to go ahead and say that this book seriously disappointed me. I loved Alex Flinn's earlier books like A Kiss in Time and Beastly, they were original and awesome and I adored them. This one, I don't really even know why I bothered to finish it. I had a clear dislike for it... All the character's were stupid and really under-developed and the plotline was okay, just not interesting or motivating enough to make you want to finish. All the characters were so clueless... It was just like UGHHHHHHH really why didn't you stupid people figure that out like 5 chapters ago!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong this is not the WORST book I've ever read, that would be the House on Mango street - Sandra Ciseneros- aka the school required reading book with no plot and has the main character get raped by a clown- but it truly is not the best either...

No playlist for this one guys... Sorry.

Silence by. Becca Fitzpatrick

The noise between Patch and Nora is gone. They’ve overcome the secrets riddled in Patch’s dark past...bridged two irreconcilable worlds...faced heart-wrenching tests of betrayal, loyalty, and trust...and all for a love that will transcend the boundary between heaven and earth. Armed with nothing but their absolute faith in each other, Patch and Nora enter a desperate fight to stop a villain who holds the power to shatter everything they’ve worked for—and their love—forever. - Summary from Amazon.com

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars, because it truly, truly has earned it!

Silence is the third book in the ever so amazing Hush, Hush Saga and it rocked my Christmas penguin socks off!
Okay since I happen to be a super nerd (Da na na na na), I must explain all of the titles meanings in regards to plotline.

Hush, Hush - It's like they're trying to keep a bunch of secrets quiet, ya know? Like shut up or I'll use you as a human sacrifice! (Despite the fact that, that truly was not the reasoning behind that little piece of plotage). Everyone has something that they're hiding from somebody else.

Crescendo- A steady increase in force or intensity. In Musical terms, your sound starts out pretty softly then gradually grows louder and louder throughout the Crescendo. At the end of the Crescendo the sound is so amazingly loud that you can hardly believe it was soft to begin with. It's a great foreshadow for this story. It begins very, very peacefully, Patch and Nora are very happy together, then stuff gets shook up a bit, tensions rise. Old wounds resurface along with old lies and old enemies. And all of this stuff builds up this giant huge sound that has gotta give somebody a migraine... But at least like always Patch and Nora are together, for then...

Silence- Unlike the others, does not start out happily. Nora's memory has been wiped by Hank Miller, Patch is no where to be found for awhile there, meaning at first there's no danger (Patch is still protecting her!!! :] ). But back to the memory wiping, Hank Miller (Pretty much the worst Dad I've ever heard of) erased every single memory Nora possessed of Patch and kidnapped her for 3 months... Rixon as we all know is very much dead. And Patch/Jev is very much disliked by heaven's angels once more solely because if you remember correctly, he went rogue at the end of Crescendo...

Dorky name explanation: It's silence because all secrets and all deceptions come clean in this book. And along with all that obviously Nora's mind obviously is pretty silent in regards to her life since the beginning of Hush, Hush...

Read this book, and the rest of this simply AMAZING series cause, it truly is a book worth reading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fateful by. Claudia Gray

It's about a servant girl named Tess in 1912, who wants to escape from the house where she works, and most particularly the lecherous young lord of the manor. But that's not her biggest problem. While on a voyage to America, where she plans to escape and start a new life, she meets Alec, who's ruggedly handsome, fabulously wealthy, intelligent and yet so clearly troubled that she'd rather not fall for him, but she does. That also is not her biggest problem. Alec, it turns out, is a werewolf ... one cursed to change every night, unless and until he surrenders his independence and joins the Brotherhood, a pack of violently misogynistic werewolves who have been tracking him for months. You'd think that would be their biggest problem, wouldn't you?

But no. Their biggest problem -- though they don't know it yet -- is that they're aboard the RMS Titanic.  ~ Summary from Goodreads.com

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars!

Holy llamas this book is AMAZING!!!!!!!! You all need to read it like now... Or else!
This was one of those books that the day it came out I had to buy it and read it THAT DAY. Seriously the second I heard about the book I instantly freaked out, it's werewolves on the Titanic, what isn't there to freak out about?!

The only thing about it that I didn't really like was the fact that the author kept throwing all these exciting little scenes at you to the point of which you were just like WHICH OF YOU IS THE FREAKING CLIMAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But that's essentially it, I adored the rest of it. :)

What I really liked about this book was, there was no love triangle, at all. It was kind of an all or nothing in romance Tess and Alec or nothing. It's not like the author threw in some random back up character to be the second choice if Alec or Tess got killed off. No, it's like if Alec or Tess die, that's it no backups to turn to. They're eachothers one shot at love. Forever.
